~ Weltina ~

elite warmbloods hanovarian mare

WELTINA -By the Hanoverian dressage supersire Weltmeyer out of an ASB mare. Weltina was acquired in 2010 to add the depth of the W line to our mare lines. So many good dressage horses in Germany these days have the W line on the dam side that it is really an essential in a Hanoverian breeding programme. She is a very typical a Weltmeyer to look at but also shows some of the elegance and refinement of her TB dam. She has an outstanding temperament which we hope she passes on to her offspring.

Kinnordy Gesina - by Graf Landau out of a Winterkoenig mare. She has a proven record producing successful fillies with her daughter Elite Galaxy by Gymnsatik Star, the winner of champion filly in 2003 and champion mare in 2004 at the Hanoverian Broodmare Show. Gesina is a fertile broodmare and passes this fertility and thriftiness on to her daughters. Gesina combines two of the most respected Hanoverian bloodlines available in Australia today both of whom have produced multiple winners in dressage, eventing and showjumping.

She has produced elite mare candidate Elite PrimaDonna, the equal highest scoring mare on classification in 2009, winner in young horse classes and dressage. This delightful mare has been sold to a competition home in NSW and her new owner describes her as her "dream horse". She has already had much success with her new owner including a championship at preliminary level.

In 2010 Gesina produced a stunning black colt by Lauries As(Londonderry/Pk Bube) who was judged to be amongst the top 10 foals in Australia by the Hanoverian classifier. This colt is the image of his father and will be one to watch for in the dressage arena. Now proudly owned by Nicola Griffiths of Sydney.
